Badminton Club Veldhoven, BCV
BCV is opgericht in 2011 en in 2018 onder de eigen naam samen gegaan met Sportieve Recreatie Heikant (SRH) waardoor de grootste badmintonclub van Veldhoven is ontstaan. SRH bestond al sinds 1981.
Binnen BCV kan er competitie gespeeld worden bij zowel de NBB (Nederlandse Badmintonbond) als de HBB ( Helmondse Badmintonbond). De club bestaat uit junioren in de leeftijd 8 tot 18 jaar en senioren, 18 jaar en ouder.
De jeugd speelt op woensdagavond van 18.30 tot 20.00 uur onder deskundige leiding van trainers en begeleiders. De senioren kennen twee spelmomenten, zondagavond van 20.00 tot 22.00 uur en woensdagavond van 20.00 tot 22.00 uur. Indien gewenst kan er ook voor de Senioren training gegeven worden.
De senioren spelen middels een inhangsysteem, hetgeen betekent dat iedere speler een label krijgt dat hij of zij kan hangen op een baan/tijdstip om vervolgens 20 minuten te kunnen spelen alvorens weer opnieuw in te hangen met en bij anderen.
Er wordt gespeeld in Sportcomplex de Atalanta aan de Dom 9 in Veldhoven.
Er kan en mag door zowel de junioren als de senioren 3 x proef gespeeld worden alvorens zich in te schrijven!!

Badminton Club Veldhoven, BCV
BCV is founded in 2011 and in 2018 BCV and Sportieve Recreatie Heikant (SRH) combined their activities under the name BCV therby creating the biggest Badminton Club of Veldhoven. (SRH was founded in 1981)
As a member of BCV you can play competition at the Nederlandse Badminton Bond (NBB) or the Helmondse Badmintonbond (HBB).
Within BCV there are two groups of players, the Juniors between the age of 8 and 18 and the Seniors from the age of 18 up.
The Juniors play on Wednesday evening from 18.30 till 20.00 hours under the guidance of badminton experts. The Seniors play both on Sunday evening as well as on Wednesday evening from 20.00 till 22.00 hours. If requested a group of Seniors can also receive training.
The Seniors are playing with a so called label system, which means that he or she can put their label on the board on one of the 10 courts at the starting time they want if available and play for 20 minutes whereafter they can put their label on the board again at another court and another time.
BCV playes in Sportcomplex de Atalanta, situated at the Dom 9 in Veldhoven.
For both the Juniors as well as the Seniors there is the possibility to play 3 times for free to experience badminton and get to know the spirit with the other club members before filling in the application form and becoming a member.
